Quartet Prelims 2012
Quartet Prelims will take place on Saturday 23rd June.
More info to follow soon... including venue (Birmingham area).
This is a qualifying round for convention. If you intend to compete at Convention 2012, you must attend Prelims and qualify. The usual quartet and membership registration rules apply.
As part of quartet prelims there will also be a Novice Quartet Contest running concurrently for all registered "novice" LABBS quartets who wish to gain experience.
"A Novice quartet is considered to be one which has never previously competed (in a quartet competition organised by any barbershop organisation) and shall include no medallists. A novice quartet may include no more than two members who have previously competed in a quartet contest." Please ensure that all relevant contest experience is declared on the entry form.
Quartet Champions Contest 2012
As there is a European Barbershop Contest scheduled in 2013, this year a contest will be run for past Quartet Champions
to compete for the QCs Trophy and to represent LABBS at European Convention in 2013. The contest will run as part of the main Semi Finals contest at Convention in Telford on Friday afternoon, 26th October 2012.
All past quartet champions who are registered as a LABBS Gold quartet are invited to enter:
